    South Upi is a 4th-class municipality in the Philippines. It is part of Maguindanao del Sur in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, located in Mindanao. It has a population of 43,197 as of the 2020 Census, and a land area of 318.95 square kilometers. It consists of 11 barangays. In the 2025 elections, the municipality has 31,886 registered voters.
