    Shariff Aguak, formerly known as Maganoy, is a 2nd-class municipality in the Philippines. It was the provincial capital of Maguindanao del Sur in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, located in Mindanao. It has a population of 33,982 as of the 2020 Census, and a land area of 166 square kilometers. It consists of 13 barangays. In the 2025 elections, the municipality has 17,711 registered voters.
